Lego® Based Therapy
Empowering Minds Psychology runs Lego® Based Therapy. Lego® Based therapy is an evidenced based, play program. It is fun and child led using a strengths based program. Child who undertake this learn emotional regulation skills, communication skills, improves critical thinking, increased distress tolerance and most importantly confidence and emotional wellbeing. It is run as a group of 4 participants or individually with a therapist. Therapists must undertake training and be certified in order to run the program.
The LEGO® Group do not have an official certification program for LEGO® Based Therapy (2022), LEGO® Based Therapy was not developed by the LEGO® Group and as such have no affiliation with the method. The LEGO® logo, SERIOUS PLAY®, Imaginopedia™, the Minifigure and the Brick and Knob configurations are trademarks of the LEGO® Group, which does not sponsor, authorise, or endorse this website.
AHPRA Board Approved Supervision
Our senior clinician, Ellen Pickering, is an experienced AHPRA board approved supervisor and provides supervision for 4+2 and 5+1 internships, registered Psychologists as well as Counsellors.

Our Senior Clinician, Ellen Pickering, is passionate about educating others so they can help themselves and help those around them. She provides engaging, neuroaffirming, practical focused presentations and training for schools, parents, groups of young people and other professionals.
